Money Don't Mean A Thang

I live in a gated community. I pay out the ass for it. Mainly b/c with my present job I can't afford it. But I will ALWAYS pay the money needed to live in a community that I feel is safe. F the savings. They don't mean a thing if I don't have my life. Maybe my incident years ago plays a factor. Who cares.

Let me tell you lives in my complex. Ambassadors to other countries. Doctors who work @ the many hospitals in the vicinity. VP's who's companies pay rent for them so they can be here for a certain length of time. So you would think...believe with these accomplishments (especially in these time b/c you can not F up...jobs are scarce) people would have some common sense. Nope...not here.

Why are these people screaming in the hallway?

The structure of the community is one that I equate with New Orleans. Hallways that are open to the elements. Fans rotating. Greenery. Juliet porches. All with gated doors. Just what I need & like. I enjoy opening my door & knowing exactly what the weather is like.

So why are these uber professionals screaming at the top of their lungs? Laughing like a wild coyote? Slamming doors like they live on a farm and no one can hear?

People please. Some of us are trying to sleep!
