Mississippi casinos got items meant for Katrina victims

The agency that regulates Mississippi's casinos got pillows, stoves, dinnerware and other items that were originally meant for Hurricane Katrina victims, according to state records obtained by CNN.

katrina produced many things strange about the us, the strangest, to me, of which was the sheriff who stopped some people from crossing a bridge into a 'dry' county because they would 'oveerrun' that county

Katrina was something that no one could ever imagine. Not just from the natural disaster, but the inept government. I am not surprised by what you stated.
