Met a new guy. Jury is still out. (isn't it always) But I have a valid reason for the pause.
When you are trying to set up the first real one on one date. To see if there is chemistry. Why would someone suggest meeting at Noir or MBar on a Friday or Saturday night? Anyone from Atlanta knows these spots. Hence my pause.
A feeling of aww shit came over me. This negro is a "want to be seen" negro. That's the bs that make me want to say no to finding a life partner. I don't want to be seen. I want to get to know you. How in the hell am I suppose to do that in a loud ass bar?
