Fear of a Black President

Please read this post over at the Huffington Post. Amazed @ the balls it took to publish it b/c I know there are many out there who think the same way.

Thanks for steering me over to this post. A post like that where real fears about race are starting to be expressed out in the open makes me think that maybe things are really changing. For so long people just wouldn't talk about race and racism.

The fact that more white people are acknowledging that we are not in a color blind society makes me think that maybe we can move from mere "tolerance" to a real appreciation of diversity.

So true Anali. We cannot ignore the fact we are in a color based society. Saying that it does not make a difference displays a naiveté that is false. When a person takes the time to write honestly as the writer did it brings a hope of change.
