One of the game's true icons, a player so esteemed that - 10.03.11 - SI Vault

I have no plans on reading this book.  I am a true fan of Walter Payton.  My father called me Sweetness after Walter because of my playing around with family in football games.  I bonded with him during this time and I will not allow someone to ruin that memory.  Everyone has faults, demons and issues which keep us from being perfect.  After all we are not God.  Nothing anyone writes can alter my view that he was and is the running back which changed the game.  He will ALWAYS BE SWEETNESS.

Book Review

Private MelodyPrivate Melody by AlTonya Washington
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I always love Ms. Washington's books, however this one did not contain the usual story depth that she is known for. But this might be because I have been reading the Ramsey Series and it is a raging inferno of love, suspense and drama. Can't Look for that in Kiamni Romance.

Book Review

Ain't No SunshineAin't No Sunshine by Leslie DuBois
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was a quick good read. I did not suspect the ending at all!! Set in Virginia during integration, it is told from the male's point of view after all of the events which allows you to relive the incidents.
